How do I setup email on my phone?

Email On My PhoneWhen trying to setup email on your phone, the process depends on who your email is hosted with and what phone you are using.

Important: Due to the limited amount of space we provide, you will need to set the email up as POP3 and not IMAP. You will also need to proceed your domain name with “mail.” when entering incoming and outgoing server information (e.g. mail.example.com).

You will need the following information to complete the setup…
Username: In this field, specify your full email address. For example, [email protected]
Password: Please contact us for this information.
Mail server protocol: POP3
Incoming mail server: Type “mail.” followed by your domain name. For example, mail.example.com.
POP3 Port: 110. The IMAP port is 143.
Outgoing mail server (SMTP):. Type “mail.” followed your domain name. For example, mail.example.com.
SMTP Port: 25
Note: This outgoing mail server requires authentication.

Google Email for Work

Important: If your email is hosted with our recommended option of Google Email For Work, we recommend that you set the account up as IMAP and not POP3.

You may need the following information…
Full Name or Display Name: Your name
Account Name, User name, or Email address: Your full email address
Password: Your Gmail password
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: imap.gmail.com
Requires SSL: Yes
Port: 993
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.gmail.com
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires TLS: Yes (if available)
Requires Authentication: Yes
Port for SSL: 465
Port for TLS/STARTTLS: 587
